Join colleagues from local and regional television in the heart of Europe for a two-day introduction to the regional development and cohesion policies of the EU and share experiences of translating EU news into local stories for your audience back home. Some of the topics that will be addressed during the Summer University will look at developments in local TV and their relationships with the EU, what the shape of regional policy will be in the future and its relevance for the media and what support journalists need to be able to tell their story.
Costs relating to travel, accommodation and meals are covered by the Committee of the Regions upon written confirmation of your participation.
