  its competitiveness in order to re-launch economic growth, thoroughly
  challenged by more than 3 years of crisis, but what are the measures 
 taken by the European Commission? Would the EU be able to trigger a ne
 w industrial revolution based on innovation?

 an Commission José Manuel Barroso, Prime Minister of Denmark Helle Th
 orning-Schmidt and the economist Jeremy Rifkin. The participants will 
 have an exclusive meeting with European Commission Vice-President Anto
 nio Tajani.
  This one-day event is organised by the European Journa
 lism Centre in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorat
