Dear All,
This is the first time that I am posting on this forum. Kindly help me with my quest.
I will be attending the Earth Summit on Sustainable Development in Rio. Would you know of any media outlet or people who might be interested in getting any stories (written/photos/audio) from the sustainable summit in Rio (June).
I would like to use this opportunity to freelance as I do not want to spread myself too thin by taking on too many assignments but it would be good to supply some quality articles such that I can cultivate good relations with some media outlets as well as build my profile.
Hoping that you would understand my plight and help. I would happy to click photographs/write/create an audio narrative.
Any advice/tips/contacts are welcome.

This sounds like it is going to be interesting :) Just to let you know I have sent out a tweet about this via the official EJC Community Twitter account. Hopefully that will help.
It would be nice, if you have time, to share some of your articles/experiences about your trip on the community so that others can follow along too.
Despite the fact that we wouldn't be able to provide you with compensation, it might be an idea, if you would be interested in gaining some visibility, to write an article for the community, which I can feature on the landing page along with your photo and a short bio. Would you be interested in this? Let me know what you think :)

I regret not answering before this but internet was a valuable commodity these past few days. How are you? Thank you for responding to my request.
You idea sounds awesome and I will definitely go for it but will do this at the end of the Summit? I just dont want to spread myself too thin and so would do this after getting some media outlets to publish me.
Do let me know if you can think of anyone who would be interested in an article or photo-story such that I can build on my profile as a freelancer. All help is appreciated.
