Hey guys!
I was surfing the Web today and came across an interesting article from the Poynter Institute that may be of use to you. It's called "10 tools that can help data journalists do better work, be more eff...". The article outlines a series of tools that can be used to better improve your data journalism skills in an easy and efficient manner.
I also found an article from ProPublica about their brand new tool called Simple Tiles.
Simple Tiles, "creates images, called tiles, from spatial data, and provides an easy way to generate each map tile based on x, y, and z coordinates. Those coordinates are typically generated by JavaScript mapping frameworks like Leaflet.js."
It's a great tool to create simple infographics that can spice up any article that you are working on.
Enjoy!
