Kader Arif, the Parlamentarian who refused to be part of ACTA, is now leaving the EU Parliament to become a Minister in the government of Jean Marc Ayarult. I have just got an email which I reproduce here below for those interested to follow his next activities. Wishing good luck to Kader Arif, I also use the opportunity to thank this Frenchman for his courage and to urge all of us to keep an eye on the next ACTA procedures.

Here is the email both in English and French:

Hello,

On May 16, I had the honor of being appointed Minister for Veterans in the government of Jean-Marc Ayrault. My mandate as an MEP ended on that date, after eight years of intense work in the European Parliament.

The newsletter, which for years has informed a wide audience on the activities that I conducted as MEP will no longer be sent. To follow my current activities, I recommend that you visit the site www.kaderarif2012.fr. You will find my new address in the "Contact" section of this site.
I take this opportunity to thank all those who have followed my work as a deputy and who did not hesitate to contact me to ask questions and for me to share their views.

Sincerely,

Kader Arif

Bonjour,

Bien cordialement,

Kader Arif
