Interesting new application designed to showcase the potential for collaboration and data-sharing between investigative reporters across the world: Investigative Dashboard/: Initiated by Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, the Romanian Center for Investigative Journalism, the Forum for African Investigative Reporters and the International Center for Journalists.

Mercury News staff writer Karen de Sá on Tuesday was awarded $10,000 and named one of six finalists for the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting, one of the country's most coveted awards for watchdog journalism.
The winner will be announced March 7 at a Kennedy School ceremony and will receive $25,000.
