Are you interested in EU spending data? Do you want to learn more about the tools and techniques available for producing stories about spending?

The European Journalism Centre have teamed up with the Open Knowledge Foundation to hold a workshop on EU spending data in the Netherlands.

In this workshop participants will learn from data journalist, Caelainn Barr, who worked as part of the Bureau of Investigative Journalism (BIJ) structural funds investigation team and spending data experts, how to get started with data-driven reporting on EU spending. Experts Chris Taggart, co-founder of OpenCorporates & founder of OpenlyLocal.com & the OKF's Friedrich Lindenberg, who contributes to OpenSpending and OffenerHaushalt will also be on hand to offer tutorials in the tools and techniques available to data journalists.
