DOTWNEWS.COM is seeking a qualified candidate to join its Dubai Media City-based team as Assistant Online Editor.

The candidate will be required to generate daily content for DOTWNEWS.COM – a luxury travel website and news portal targeted at affluent travellers.

The candidate will report to the Senior Editor and join a dynamic team working across DOTWNEWS.COM and the print edition, Destinations of the World News, which is distributed in First and Business Class airport lounges across the Middle East.

This opportunity is for a permanent position at WNN Limited based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of Assistant Online Editor will involve sourcing and developing travel news on a daily basis, sourcing and editing relevant images, and creating non-news content including features, reviews and diary listings.

The successful applicant will be able to file spotless, original copy, to tight deadlines, and ensure that other copy submitted for online publishing adheres to the requirements of the DOTWNEWS.COM style guide.

The role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the website through the CMS, scheduling the publishing of magazine content online, overseeing the planning of bi-weekly newsletters and taking part in regular editorial meetings to discuss future content.

The candidate will also be required to maintain social media sites including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and contribute to our print edition, Destinations of the World News, when necessary.
