This is an exciting period for Business Insurance as they develop their brand and evolve further as the essential multimedia source of news and information for the risk management and commercial insurance industry. Business Insurance is currently seeking a Reporter to work in its Chicago or New York office.

The job:

The reporter will write news and features across the publication’s various platforms, including the print magazine, which has been covering the market for more than 40 years; BusinessInsurance.com, which has been breaking news online for more than 10 years; and through its more recent vehicles, such as social media and video reports.

The requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years reporting experience as a financial journalist and will have a proven ability to work a beat and break news. This is a position for an enterprising reporter who can develop sources, quickly grasp sometimes complex issues, and write about them with clarity and style. Experience covering the commercial insurance market would be an advantage.
