Business Life Feature Writer wanted at The National- Abu Dhabi

The National, a quality English language broadsheet and digital news operation based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a feature writer for the business section. This is a great job for a natural writer with an interest in the people who make business happen.

The successful candidate will have experience covering business stories with a personal touch. You will be comfortable writing a range of stories from the 350-word feature to the 1,000 word profile. Your subject could be an online entrepreneur, a sports marketing executive or a management guru.

Some knowledge of the Middle East or Arabic would be an advantage, but more important would be your enthusiasm and ability to tell the story of business from the grass roots. You would be expected to set your own news agenda and deliver a regular diet of short features and interviews as well as news stories. You will be expected to engage in social media and appear on video and radio.

Send a short letter with CV, clips and a reference via
email, marked "business life" in the subject line.
