  • Provide clear, concise and creative communications on EU environmental issues, aimed at international EU correspondents and decision-makers.
  • Prepare, write and disseminate press releases, media briefings and other relevant communications material.
  • Coordinate and promote press conferences, interviews and briefings, and advise Greenpeace EU staff on communications.
  • Establish, develop and maintain good relations with the EU media community.
  • Act as a media spokesperson and Greenpeace representative.
  • Maintain contacts with Greenpeace national offices and Greenpeace International to help ensure coordination for EU-related communications output across the global organisation.
  • With the Communications Manager, develop and implement innovative and competent communications strategies on EU political and legislative issues.
  • Contribute to media training for Greenpeace EU staff and, where relevant, national Greenpeace offices.
  • Manage and update the Greenpeace EU website and social media accounts.
