About the role
We want people of all ages to have amazing National Trust experiences. And we want our places and spaces to be full of life and loved locally. That’s why we’re always exploring new ways to reach out to local people and communities to promote our work here at Cragside. That’s where you come in. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing an exciting range of promotional and marketing activities and in everything you do, whether it’s traditional media, social media or updating our property web pages, you’ll inspire, enthuse and engage people around you. To help you along the way, you’ll also recruit and train a team of dedicated volunteers. There is plenty to tell people about our property, and by putting your skills and knowledge to the best possible use, you’ll get more local people actively involved with our work.
This role will involves weekend, Bank Holiday and evening working.
About you
Your background is marketing and communications and you’ll have proven experience of developing and updating content on websites and producing engaging printed materials. Brilliantly organised, you’ll be great at planning and managing multiple priorities and always deliver to the highest of standards. And inspirational ideas? By the notebook-full. You’ll be up-to-date with the full media mix too, including social media like Facebook and Twitter and you enjoy nothing more than working as part of a team.
