The Data Editor will tell compelling stories around Twitter Media, with imaginative uses and presentations of Twitter data. The candidate will supply press, partners and the internal communications team with clear and insightful data-driven case studies, working with the Twitter Media Editor to maximize distribution to trade press and to the media industry. The candidate will be highly creative, have an eye for visual design and a strong competency working with data.
Success in this role is measured by:
- ability to clearly and convincingly illustrate the effect of Twitter Media best practices using data as the core story-telling medium, e.g. the use of live-tweeting to drive follower growth and engagement; or demonstrating the effectiveness of a TV integration
- overall exposure of data-based marketing materials
With the Twitter Media Editor, execute a comprehensive data-driven marketing strategy
Create unique and imaginative data-driven visuals supporting Twitter Media's market message
Work with the Twitter Analytics team to source and analyze data demonstrating clear proof points
Develop tools and techniques which can be reused by international Twitter marketing teams
Define and document best practices, and contribute to company knowledge sharing effort
