Gulf News is looking for a deputy sports editor in Dubai. The job requires you to act as trusted deputy to lead, direct and assign the gathering and production of content for a multi-media organisation within their area of responsibility in line with the organization’s policies.

The job includes the planning of all content within the specific section, assigning and maximising resources to generate content, participating in and contributing to the Hub operation and liaise with other sections, and much more.

A diploma or degree in journalism or relevant experience is required, as well as experience in Editorial Content Management Systems. Awareness of local and regional affairs and sensitivities relevant to the sports section.
