The Kamloops Daily News is looking for a new editor to lead a high-powered, award-winning news organization to new heights.

The Editor manages a staff of 16 experienced professionals and is responsible for the overall editorial direction of the newspaper, including story planning, mentoring journalists and representing the newspaper in the community.

You combine several years of leadership in print journalism (including a minimum of two years’ experience as an editor) with a clear vision for what makes a great newspaper – not only in print, but also online and in social media. You are driven to succeed and to motivate a dedicated and experienced team to success in a highly competitive news environment. You have a strong editorial voice and sound judgment.
