Lake Norman Publications is looking for motivated,ambitious high school and college students who want to learn about writing, improve their skills and get a feel for working in a newsroom.

Candidates must be available at least 10 hours each week, for at least six weeks during the summer.

Other necessary qualifications are:

• Intermediate writing skills

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Willingness to take direction and constructive criticism

• Experience using a digital camera
