Experienced Journalist wanted at Conference and Travel Publications- U.K.

The group is looking for an experienced journalist with good, all-round skills to fill a maternity leave position on the magazine serving the international conference and events industry. The role requires the ability to write news and features, sub-edit, read proofs and work with graphic designers to completion. There is also a significant involvement in the publication's website.

Travel both in the UK and overseas is required and a relaxed attitude towards Greenwich Mean Time is expected! The position will be based in the spacious offices in East Grinstead, West Sussex (under an hour by train from Clapham Junction).

Conference And Travel (CAT) Publications is a small, specialist publisher dedicated to the events industry worldwide. 

The remuneration package will reflect experience and qualifications and will include qualification for the annual profit-share scheme.

It’s a great position for somebody who is happy to work on the move, attend events, file copy from around the world and contribute to the web site with blogs and news items.
