A weekly news publication covering a specialised sector of the energy industry is seeking a freelance sub-editor to work two days per week.

The work entails thorough editing of stories submitted by our small team of reporters, fact-checking, page layout, sourcing photos and proofreading.

The ability to lay out pages on InDesign is essential, as is a good mix of design and copy-editing skills.

Experience in an industry publication and especially an energy publication is preferred but not a prerequisite.

Working in our London offices is desired at first but not essential.

We would also need the sub-editor to occasionally liaise with printers.
