GQ is looking for a junior sub editor to join its award-winning desk at the heart of Britain’s leading men’s magazine. The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of the world GQ inhabits, be able to produce accurate and witty display copy, and have a well-developed feel for the tone of the magazine. He/she will be keen, confident and able to work effectively under pressure.
One to two years of subbing experience on a magazine or newspaper is essential, as is proficiency with InDesign. As you will be working with both GQ’s magazine editorial team and dedicated digital department, experience of tablet software is an advantage.
