Chicago-based Claretian Publications seeks Managing Editor for its Catholic general-interest publication U.S. Catholic magazine.

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of the content and design and for the timely and cost-effective production of this prominent, award-winning monthly magazine and of online publishing at uscatholic.org.

The Managing Editor has the primary responsibility for all aspects of planning, writing, editing, designing, and producing this publication through management of its staff. This position manages and works closely with the online editor to ensure the quality of the online publishing ministry at uscatholic.org. The Managing Editor also collaborates with marketing to ensure that the publication continues to meet the needs of its target audience, and is responsible for continually seeking ways to expand the target audience.
