Channel 4 News is looking for an experienced and authoritative correspondent to join our award-winning politics team. The Political Correspondent role supports our Political Editor, Gary Gibbon, in delivering original journalism told with authority and character.

We are looking for someone with great political contacts who can regularly break stories. It’s likely that you will already have significant experience covering politics and a track-record of strong exclusives. Broadcasting experience is desirable.

Whilst the main focus of the role is daily news, you will demonstrate flair for making memorable films and for investigative journalism. You will write for the Channel 4 News website and use social media to maximise the impact of your stories and engage with our audience.
