An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Producer to join Sydney's leading television news team. Based at our Sydney Broadcast Centre, Martin Place this position will be primarily responsible for managing the content and production of news stories, ensuring high standards are maintained, as well as generating new story ideas, whilst utilising a creative and original approach. The position may also act as the Line Producer as required, assisting to plan and execute the 11:30am, 4:30pm or 6:00pm News bulletins and producing News stories to air from the control room.

To be successful in this position you will have previous experience in a Senior Producing role. You will have exposure to working within a control room environment and be able to formulate a run down. Excellent writing and research skills and the ability to respond to breaking news is a must. A solid understanding of media law and ethics is also essential.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate an ability to think clearly and act quickly under pressure. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively and professionally as part of a team and with other departments is also required.
