While you’ll be employed by the Met Office, your professional home will be the BBC Weather Centre in London, delivering broadcasts on TV, radio and multimedia.
Engaging, informative and professional, you’ll work to the standards the BBC demands (including their style guides and editorial policy) while being consistent with the meteorological standards of the Met Office.
You’ll bring the weather to life for your audience. Above and beyond presenting, you’ll play an active role in the production of all weather reports and stories: you’ll work alongside production colleagues to find new ways to communicate the weather, exploring new angles and new approaches.
This is a two-year fixed-term, 24x7 shift working role.
Applications close 31 August, 2012.
