Newsroom Management

Yesterday's newsroom was not easy to manage but the newsroom of the future will be a real challenge.
The EJC, in collaboration with trainer Per Anderson, has been running its successful Newsroom Management workshops for over 15 years, and has upgraded the workshop format to offer the necessary tools to tomorrow's leaders:

* How to create a safe and creative atmosphere inside the newsroom, when nothing is safe on the outside;

* How to lead, write and publish in a true dialogue with your staff and your users;

* How to work with fast and flexible teams, instead of traditional groups and departements;

* How to develop your product and your staff when goals and objectives become outdated in a blink.

It would be interesting to learn what past participants, and other community members think of the new approach.

If in Journalism, Media and Communication in general, one deals with freedom of expression, one has to be accessible to all and able to understand and communicate in all languages. Sign language is one of them and it is not only the language of the hearing impaired, it is a minority language of many people in every society of the world.
