One of the meanings of the Latin word Oracle is to speak wisely and with authority. This group aims to bring together experts in the Greek questions of this time. A group for Media Professionals and Journalists, specialized in Economy, International Business & Trade, Politics, EU Law, History, Sociology, Antropology, Classic Studies, Education and Philosophy, but also other writers and students of these disciplines.
Here, we can focus on everything Greek. The economic crisis, and the historic facts that have caused such a depression. Furthermore we gather Analysts to study all of the relevant facts, provide articles, events online or in public places, festivals, lectures, seminars and insight information, news, in order to get the best ideas to provide the people of Greece, with proposals for the solution or at least with useful knowledge on the matter.

The Greek Oracle is finally here, not only to ask you all to pray together for Greece and the Greeks, but also to speak up, to urge the EU to be united, to show that harmony is not only a question of EU laws, but a sloagan for every citizen, a reminder that beeing European means to be a Greek as well. After all, there's where Europa was born, the birth of civilization and democracy!
Enough of empty discourses, we want the facts, and we are here to report your positive actions, your bright ideas, your commitment to support Greece and Europe because we are one. "I'm not an Athenian or a Greek, but a citizen of the world" ...reminding you all, that Socrates will not be killed again for criticizing and helping us to unvail the truth! However, the famous "I know that I don't know nothing" from today on is a thing of the past. We want to know everything and if we die or get exhausted on the way, at the end of the day we can say:
at least, we've tried!
Let's go Greek, starting by welcoming our first members, Hanna McLean and Ioannis Andritsopoulos, who already uploaded his first article, How the financial crisis has affected the media industry in Greece.
You don't need an invitation, citizens from the world, please come home, back to the beggining, when civilization and democracy begun, be a Greek today here at the EJC.
Join our Journalists at facebook as well, become a friend : ILTV Craats and stay updated.
This group does not have any discussions yet.

Dear colleagues,
Let’s all hope that this group will set the stage for a constructive conversation and will serve as a forum for exchanging views on what is currently happening in Greece and what can we do to help.
My first contribution to the group would be this article I recently wrote about How the financial crisis has affected the media industry in Greece.
Let the dialogue begin!
