2011 Knight Fellow Beth Duff-Brown, who has worked as a journalist on three continents, outlines her effort to create a digital platform for reporting on global issues from a woman's perspective -- and explains what drives her passion for this project.
Beth Duff-Brown aims at developing A Woman’s World, a digital prototype for sustained storytelling — breaking news, policy, government reports, interactive features — about global issues from the perspective of women and girls, particularly in the developing world; creating a team to develop content in all formats, with social networking, iPhone and iPad applications and Twitter and Facebook feeds.
