What is the point of the platform?
We want journalists to be able to find, talk and learn from each other easily and effectively in a collaborative and independent environment.
This platform should help you find experts or contacts according to their field or nationality, communicate ideas, share news and issues and much more.
The EJC Online Journalism Community is primarily a tool to connect media workers. As a secondary activity, the European Journalism Centre may promote its work, seminars and publications on the platform, with clear indication of its involvement, when useful to community members.
Where is my data
stored?
All user data is held on the secure servers of ning.com, which has
hosted our sister platform the European
Neighbourhood Journalism Network (ENJN) since early 2008. We
also run the highly successful TH!NK ABOUT IT blogging
competition on the ning platform.
What are the rules?
This is a moderated community open to journalists and other media
professionals. We expect members to treat one another with
respect.
We do not tolerate comments that contain vulgar or abusive language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups.
In addition, we do not tolerate comments that are clearly 'off topic' or spam, that promote services or products, or that make unsupported accusations.
What is your privacy

Journalism Centre will not share your data with any third
party. Full details of ning.com's privacy policy available

It is NOT intended for use by headhunters, PR workers, etc. who may prove a nuisance to our users.
