Apparently the words Cease Fire no longer have the meaning they once had. Much like a "Civil War" is anything but Civil the whole concept of a Cease Fire has become like wise a contradiction in terms. Rather than an opportunity to resolve a conflict through less violent means it has become an opportunity to re-load. Perhaps the only thing that it is good for is the opportunity it gives civilians to flea the war zone if they can or dig deeper holes to hide in. Perhaps if we started calling it what it really is people might have a stronger reaction to the mindless slaughter that is going on.
