Tell us a little bit about yourself
I have been practising journalism professionally since 2005. While in the University of Buea as a student journalist, I was the editor-in-chief of the Campus radio and Newspaper The Chariot from 2003 to 2005. I also undertook series of internships with private and state radio and television stations including Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV), Abakwa FM, Hot Coffee Radio etc. The experience I had facilited my first ever recruitment as a journalist with Hot Coffee radio on January 2005; just months to my graduation.
After obtaining a degree in Journalism and Mass communication in December 2005 from the University of Buea-Cameroon, I left Hot Coffee and was immediately employed as journalist by Equinoxe Radio and Television where I served as a reporter and Anchor.
In May 2006, I was appointed Editor of Equinoxe Radio and Television. In January 2007, I was again appointed as Editor-in-chief of the English service of Equionoxe Radio and Television: a post I presently occupy.
In November 2011, I won my first ever international award offered by Radio For Peacebuilding Africa-RFPA Awards. In December 2011, I hosted the Best TV Show during October 9 2011 presidential poll in Cameroon; Etoudi 2011
Today my role at Equinoxe Radio and Television consists principally of news reporting, preparation and presentation of newscast and other programs.
