I am a full-time print media reporter/ journalist from Lahore, PAKISTAN besides I am also involved in online journalism, globally. At present I am working for The News International, Lahore as Staff Correspondent.

I have been writing about variety of topics including human rights, modern journalism, terrorism, education and politics etc.

During the year 2009 I had the opportunity to visit Oslo, Norway to attend Global Media Dialogue Seminar with Focus on Norway and Pakistan, organised by the Oslo University College (OUC) funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The seminar was a great opportunity to highlight the challenges being faced by the Pakistani media and journalists. It also helped me a lot to learn more and more about Norwegian media and more especially the challenges of freedom of expression in the modern digital age.

At present I am also a council member of the Lahore Press Club (LPC) and a member of the Punjab Union of Journalists (PUJ), a local chapter of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).

It has been around six years now.
