- Malik Ayub Sumbal is South Asian bureau chief for American Daily Herald. A senior freelance investigative journalist in Islamabad, Pakistan, his work has appeared in numerous international newspapers and magazines, including the Asia Times online and the World Tribune and he has contributed to the European Journalism Center and the Asian Human Rights Commission.

- I am a freelance investigative -journalist based in Islamabad Pakistan. I did my M.Sc in Mass Communication from National University of Modern Languages (NUML), one of the leading universities that started its Mass Communication department in the federal Capital Islamabad.
I have now the experience of more than 10 years while working with National and International Newspapers, Magazines, Journals, Wire Services and Television Channels.
I am presently associated with Asia Times Online, American Daily Herald, World Free News, World Tribune, Freepressers, Asian Human Rights Commission (Hong Kong), European Journalism Center, Energy Digital, Laspecula.com and a couple of more organizations.
Beside these organizations I am also submitting articles and features for the annual journals and magazines of the world organizations and communist’s ideology.
I had also worked in the major English newspapers of Pakistan. I was the part of The News Jang Group of Newspapers for more than three years till October 2010 after this I started practicing journalism as a freelance investigative reporter to the foreign media from Pakistan.
I am one of the objective Analysts on the Asian Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Defense and Strategic Studies, Media and National Political affairs of Pakistan.
In journalism my specialization was on the subject of Investigative Reporting and my Research Paper was also on the topic of ‘Investigative Reporting Evolution and Challenges in Pakistan.”
I am also analyst at Rai Radio International of Italy on regional issues.
