Accredited by the National Training Authority (NTA), the Gambia Press Union (GPU) School of Journalism becomes Gambia's first journalism school mandated to provide journalism education up to diploma level. Training, sharing of information, support for my media house in the Gambia, getting involve in all media program and working with colleagues.
Tell us a little bit about yourself
I am a Liberian by natinality, came to the Gambia in the late 90s and i am the publisher and Editor of
The Voice newspaper in Banjul, The Gambia. I also work for the Pan- African News Agency
Panpress.com in Dakar, Senegal. Iam the chairpeson of the Network of Human Rights Journalists- The
Gambia. I hold Diplomats in Gender and Development Studies, Management Development Institute
(Kanifing, The Gambia) Journalism, African Virtual University Nairobi Kenya and Indiana University
of Pennsylvania America, College of Humanities and Social Science

I am a conscientious person who shows commitment and determination to my work. I have
Developed high respect for standards and good practices of journalism through hard work and adherence
to the principles and ethics.
Over the years, I have developed my reporting skills, knowledge of covering human interest issues,
research and investigation, interviewing skills, and a good writing style. With a track record for
coordinating newsroom affairs, I can also work under pressure without supervision. I am always
determined to improve.
