I am the author of seven books and have been a guest on Oprah, Maury, The Early Show, CNN and others. Seems like a lifetime ago when I was writing books about Raising Happy Kids. Now, 15 years later, I would like to share some holiday fun ideas that my 4 kids enjoyed, very unique and fun...and in these tough economic times when parents can not afford to buy lots of things...I have free downloads of my recipe for Reindeer Feed to sprinkle on your law on Christmas Eve, A Christmas Bingo game to play, a picture of Santa feeding his reindeer (me in a Santa suit at a reindeer farm) and 25 other NO COST THINGS for family fun time, without spending a pennny!
On December 1, I will release an audio book on CD as well as available as a download of a story that I wrote for my kids when they were young. It languished with the Christmas boxes and it came out every year, for our own family tradition. What made it special was that it was in a special Christmas sack that held 10 Santa Clues - things that Santa would take out of the bag and leave as a trail around the house - to prove that he had been there. So when the kids woke up on Christmas morning and they saw a gold pinecone, an elf button, a piece of Santa's red velvet coat, a big gold buckle.......they would know that Santa had left a trail that led down to the Christmas tree. Oh, those magical days, when Santa was real....I would like to share these ideas with families who are raising little ones right now.
