Thai Air Force aircraft skids off at Hazrat Shahjalal airport runway

DHAKA, April 30: Flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka was stalled for 15 minutes after a Thai air force aircraft made a troubled landing injuring three passengers, officials said here today.



Civil aviation and Biman officials said the raining aircraft of Thai Royal Air Force skidded off the runway as it was landing at the airport this morning injuring the pilot and two others while it was carrying 15 passengers.

Sagar-Runi's body may be exhumed soon Court permits second autopsy

DHAKA, April 25: After around two and a half months of the murder of journalist couple Sagar and Runi, a Dhaka court yesterday permitted Rab to exhume the remains of their bodies from the graves for fresh autopsies to reveal the mystery surrounding the homicide.

Bangladesh sends 2.30 lakh workers abroad in four months

DHAKA, April 24: Bangladesh has sent 2.30 lakh workers abroad during the last four months giving a boost to the country's manpower export this year, officials said.

Abducted baby girl rescued in capital of Bangladesh

DHAKA, April 22: Police today rescued the seven-month-old baby girl from the capital’s Mirpur area, a day after she was abducted by robbers from her Khilgaon residence.
