Journalists observe work stoppage demanding arrest of killers of Sagor-Runi

  DHAKA, Feb 27: The journalists of different media today observed one- hour symbolic work stoppage from 12 noon to 1 pm throughout the country demanding immediate arrest of the killers of journalist couple Sagor Sarwar and Mehrun Runi.

8071 people killed in road mishaps in three years in Bangladesh

Inflation hits 15 year high in Bangladesh

DHAKA, Feb 7: Fuel import, energy price hike, and taka's devaluation against the US dollar have jacked up the country's non-food inflation to 13.16 percent in January -- which is the highest in the last fifteen years.
