Make the Most of Online Media Resources

I research media resources for journalists as part of my job as Multimedia Editor with the European Journalism Centre, and it seems at the moment like every week there's an exciting new online media concept to buzz about.

Looking through the list of media resources that me and my predecessor have written about, some have stood the test of time and some haven't.

But win or lose for these concepts, the exciting thing for me is to be witnessing this surge in innovative journalism. To be able to be part of what is arguably the biggest - almost seismic - shift in journalism in decades is really exciting.

These resources - Qluso, Storify, Wikileaks, ScraperWiki, VJ Movement - are out there for the using, and some are in the process of defining how we produce and consume news in years to come.
