Pesco asks consumers to limit power usage

PESHAWAR (APP): Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) has urged its consumer for conserving maximum energy to overcome the current energy crisis in the with the cooperation of customers.
According to a spokesman the company is taking all possible steps to overcome the energy crisis, however public is also requested, to conserve energy by means of less consumption especially during the peak hours i.e from 6.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. It as asked the petrol pumps and Jewellery shops for avoiding the use of decorative lights.
The domestic consumers are also requested to use Energy Savers and tube lights instead of bulbs and must iron their clothes in day time so that energy could be saved, Similarly stealing also creates power shortage and power distribution system is hence severely over loaded
It has also urged the tube-well operators for operating tube-wells in accordance with load shedding schedule, so that customers does not face difficulties in getting water, adding that better co-operation extended to Pesco from customers can resolve the present situation of power rapidly.
