According to police, 30-year-old Seemab of Pandori area in Narang Mandi worked for a Lahore basednewspaper and had not been paid fopr last two months. The hostel administration was pressing her to pay the room rent ahead of Eid.
On Wednesday, Seemab jumped from the fourth floor of the girls’ hostel. She was taken to hospital but could not survive.
Seemab was the only financial support for her diseased father and her younger brothers. Police are further investigating the incident.

I wish you could send the address of the newspaper, the local police and the brothers/family of the journalist, so we can offer our condolences and get a full report on the issues.
