Dear Eliana, nice to have you like a contact and friend here EJC, hope we can change ideas in several topics like desing. I was reading your postings, very intersting.Hope we keep in touch.Have a wonderful week !
Journalism in Israel and the Palestinian Territories is not an easy profession. I have left day-to-day journalism and work for a think tank, but I follow the local media closely, and had taught a course on "International Reporting" at a US university.
Journalists on both sides of the "Green Line" often face political, governmental, non-governmental, ideological, and social pressures that limit their freedom of movement, freedom to write, and even, their personal physical safety.
They are under tremendous pressure to present a "positive" spin on the news from their home territory. They face censorship - both overt and covert.
Journalism here is ideological; "objective" journalism is not practiced. In fact it is usually sneered at as being impossible or unworthy of being sought as a goal.
Hi Eliana. nice to meet you. I've been reading your blog posts. And I look forward to reading more. After a day of reporting court trials on a local scale, it is inspiring to read such insightful posts on a grand scale. Reiser du ofte til Norge fra Danmark? Jeg tenker å flytte til København neste år.
Hola Eliana! Cómo estás? Hablas español? Thank you for your message. Did you know that the town-village's - where my parents live - name is Eliana. Thats really funny. Have you been in Spain recently? Today, it isnt really good for young people to work there, especially for journalists..
Thank you very much for remembering me...I m mostly engage with Human rights issues within Media as special correspondent for human rights....Here are different abuses on peak and political instability position getting worst a lot of work and tension
You are right. Ime Danos kai mou arései poly elenica. You are very good at Danish. I only can read some Dutch. I am not sure of how to produce it. My Greek is onbly at a beginner's level.
If you have time (15 min) I also produced this little movie which will participate in a Serbian tourist film festival in September and a Portuguese festival next spring. Anyway it is a good initiative with the diversity, I'll go for that.
I'm sorry our intercultural dialogue hasn't been moving into the right direction. By the way, I couldn't find you on LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook (you can easily find me there). That could have been a good first step towards professional communication and friendship.
its me again! I haven't logged on to the blog for quite a while as I have been transfered to singapore effective Feb 24th, i would be delighted if you can come over to singapore then. It is a pity that I am not around in malaysia when you come over, but please add your visit here too.
