What I would do in your case is a) make a profile (if it's not already open to anyone here is an invite), b) set most things to private so your public profile will look like basically "yes I exist" and perhaps c) fix the author-thingy to have your profile pic show up in Google search results by your texts (ie see here which is still on my own to-do list, admitted).
